In a scene reminiscent of Grease 2’s ‘score tonight’ moment, House of Coco recently visited the newest play pen in leeds, Roxy Lanes. (You haven’t seen Grease 2? Watch it… but only half way through because the second half is desperately boring!) Following on from the success of their table tennis and beer pong bar Roxy Ball Room, Leeds now has all of the fun and competition of an actual bowling alley, with the atmosphere and drinks of a Leeds bar and the food of a standalone respectable restaurant. Split into 3 sections, you walk in to face the length of the alleys. Immediately your ears are excited by the inimitable sound of bowling balls smashing their way through the pins in an attempt to strike and win! To the side of the alleys is the bar which has the darkness and decor required to make it feel like a night out in Leeds rather than a teenage pre-cinema bowling session. Just down from the bar is the restaurant area. The perfect place to eat your gourmet burgers, stone baked pizzas or anything else from this gorgeous menu… right in front of the open kitchen, cosy and light. Roxy Lanes is the perfect after work wind down. It’s got everything needed for those that want to stay out a bit longer or those that either need to drive back or have a partner waiting at home with the dogs and dinner! Food and drinks prices are super reasonable, especially for the centre of town, but most importantly at Roxy Lanes you can eat restaurant quality food, drink a nice range of ales, lagers, wines and spirits (and soft drinks!) and do a good old fashioned bit of bowling! Thanks to Pink Gorilla we now know about it and you know about it too… so, we’ll see you there for a cheeky week night out! Eyes on the prize though… House of Coco likes to win! (And eyes on your pizza too because House of Coco loves Roxy pizzas!)
