Nearly Time To Swap The Snow For The Sea! #Cornwall

We’re not done with the snow quite yet but as soon as we are we’re going to miss that feeling of being strapped to a board or chucking ourselves into something a little bit dangerous!

That’s where St Moritz hotel in Cornwall comes into our lives. There’s no stopping us here at House of Coco, adventures are what we live for, well, looking good doing adventurous stuff and living our lives like there’s no tomorrow!

It’s almost time to hang up our sallopettes and dust off the wetsuits as St Moritz unveils a new spring and summer schedule packed with activities to delight even the most determined thrill seeker.

The Cornish beachside retreat has partnered with the area’s very best surf, adventure and tour companies to offer a programme of non-stop adventure for every age.

St Moritz’s surf school partner Wavehunters, based within walking distance on the beautiful Polzeath beach, is offering private and group surfing lessons daily from 10am-4pm for those aged six and above; e-coasteering (rock pooling for little ones); rib boat sea safaris around the local coastline and surfing day trips to other nearby beaches.

Polzeath’s Era Adventures meanwhile has kayaking, guided mountain biking tours and the increasingly popular sport – coasteering, whilst Rock’s Camel Ski School offers inflatable banana boat and ringo rides, water skiing, stand up paddle boarding and boat charters.

Once the kids and adults are worn out from their energetic day, the hotel’s Cowshed Spa, luxury Hamman style steam room and sauna and solar-heated, art deco designed outdoor swimming pool are tailor-made for some much needed down time.

All of the above can be organised through the team at St Moritz who will also organise to collect you in their very own Land Rover to save you the trouble of walking up the road with aching limbs!

The best cure for a weary body and mind after all the fun, is of course a delicious Cornish meal. The fine dining restaurant serves the freshest local produce under the direction of Head Chef David Williams. Dishes include the very popular ‘Surf and Turf’ special – Briased Beef Rib, Mousseline potatoes, Beef bonbon, Octopus, Cockles, Mussels and Cavolo Nero.

The St Moritz is the perfect idyll for those wishing to combine adventure and pure luxury!
