Crafters! Get ready to be excited. This autumn the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew will be the location for a new inspiring and cutting-edge international craft fair. The tranquil surroundings of Kew seems like the perfect place to host such an exciting event and as it is being organised by Handmade in Britain we know we are in safe hands.
Never before can I think of a time where horticulture and shopping have combined in such an exciting way. Your ticket will not only give you access to the show but rather wonderfully it also allows you to absorb the stunning surrounds of the whole of Kew Gardens. Crafting is very much growing in popularity and it is becoming an increasingly trendy thing to do. For those of us that are not so artistically gifted but enjoy the thrill of finding unique handmade items, Handmade at Kew will not disappoint. Over 150 international makers and designers will be showcasing their incredible wares including ceramics, glass, furniture, textiles, metalwork and jewellery. The event will provide the opportunity to speak to the designers and makers and discuss their process; who knows, you may even want to commission a piece specifically designed and made for you.
