Immediately after his spring/summer 2015 show this week, designer Christopher Kane announced his up and coming collection with Nars, the beauty company that had created the simple, minimalist make-up look for his models.
Nars has been a long-standing and valued partner of ours, so this collaboration was an obvious fit,” explains Kane.
“Nars has the same unapologetic aesthetic that is signature to the Christopher Kane brand.”
Following in the footsteps of Phillip Lim, Thakoon and Pierre Hardy, who have all collborated with the American make-up brand, the Scotsman explained: “I’m excited to share what we’ve created together.”
The designer is famed for his bare, “no make-up, make-up looks” backstage, and a Christopher Kane show with colour on the face is a rarity. We’re told however that the collection, which launches in May 2015, is in fact “a full colour” range, for the eyes, lips and cheeks.
We can’t wait to try and test these products, expecting lots of glowy and illuminating staples!
